History Is Now Logo_edited.png

Welcome back! As we start this new school year, I am thrilled to unveil our 2026-2027 Theme:

History is Now.

History is in the stories we bring to life. History is in the students who step onto the stage and find their voices. History is in every rehearsal, every performance, and every moment we create together.

We aren't just telling stories from the past, we are creating the stories that will be remembered.

New Rehearsal Dinner Policy

We will now cater in one spectacular dinner for our company; that’s cast and crew (and musicians for the musical). This will happen on the Sunday of the week of the show which is normally a 12pm to 10pm day.

Dress rehearsals on Monday through Wednesday will now start at 5pm.

NYC Trip Now Summer 2027

The NYC Trip will be postponed until Summer of 2027.  For our amazing seniors, we’re going to open registrations for the trip in early May so that they can register and travel with us the following summer as an alumni!

More information on this coming in 2026!

Devised Theatre & Joslyn Art Museum

In 2023, Devised Theatre created an original theatrical piece in collaboration with the Samuel Bak Art Museum and UNO on dehumanization and genocide. The piece, How Did We Get Here? was performed in the UNO Black Box and was optioned for production at the Jewish Community Center.

This year we’re working with Joslyn Art Museum and their new contemporary art wing to devise a new production on the topic of identity in an era of technological saturation.

More information to come with performance details.
