ITS, or International Thespian Society, is a global honor society specifically created for high school theatre students. ITS also functions as Warrior Theatre's social center. ITS students attend various plays and musical around the Omaha Metro, plan social gatherings, and will attend and compete in the State Festival in January every year.

Course Offerings:

Introduction to Theatre (Theatre 1):A comprehensive introduction, including theatre history, play analysis, monologue, and an overview to technical theatre.

Basic Acting (Theatre 2): Looking at the basics of performance, includes reader's theatre, improv, scenework studies of comedy and drama, and auditioning. PreReq: Foundations 1 (as least a "C")

Advanced Acting (Theatre 3): An performance class that focuses on the craft and theory of acting. The culmination of the class is a one-act production. PreReqs: Intro and Basic (at least a "C")

Stagecraft (Theatre 4): A comprehensive class that broadly covers each aspect of technical theatre: design, construction, lighting, sound, costume, theatrical makeup, and production management. PreReq: Foundations 1 & 2 OR Construction

Playwriting (Theatre 5):An advanced class in which students read, analyze, and discuss the theories and contexts of a variety of dramatic literature. The culmination of the class is for students to write an original short play.

PreReqs: Foundations 1 and 2  and a Junior or Senior
